Transair in Hawaii
Transair good or bad?
I had a 5 minutes call with Transair chief pilot about 737 first officer position this week. Did drug test today and now an email job contract without seeing the operations in Hawaii. This seems strange, what do you think?

Saying nothing about Transair, a job offer after a brief interview is not, in itself, a reason to run away. I know a guy who got hired at Allegiant when they were starting up, and the hiring process for him wasn't much more than that.

I know a couple of people who worked there. They did not like it. Work was ok but the contract was changed when the company needed to.
I wouldnt work there. Short flights. No flight time to be had for a lot of work.

Plus if you never lived in Hawaii you need to do your research if you can live on the pay they will give you.
Housing is not cheap. Not many crash pads available if you think you will commute.
and ditto the above, Transair is a bottom feeder.
