30 day or less mil leave question

How does FedEx treat 30 days or less of mil leave with regard to USERRA? Does it count toward 5 years of MLA or not? Can you take 30 day periods of mil leave without it affecting the total 5 years or does any period of mil leave still count towards the 5 years?
