If this Europe base come out on the next bid, are you thinking about going and in what seat and where are you coming from??

I am seriously looking at it if I can hold the left seat.I'm coming from the right seat of the Bus.(80'th %)

What all are you looking at??? Do you have any info we don't have??? Kinda hard to speculate on something we know nothing about...

But to answer your question...No, not yet.

Gotta see what it looks likes $$$ wise. If I go, it's got to work in the pocket first. Not gonna be cheap in Paris. Me? 50%ish right seat MD. Plan? In a perfect world, 3 yrs 757 CA in Paris then back to MEM as MD CA.

I'm lookin' at it, just do see anything yet.......

Also got questions on the Paris domicile thing....... Can you do 3 yrs then come back later? 3 yrs as FO then 3 yrs as CA? I had heard the French don't want guys coming over and living in France forever -- it'll definitely be a "tour" thing.

Yes if they decide to keep it a "SIBA style" operation.........I noticed UPS has yet to create a European domicile.

Don't count on the union for any help, on any issue. It's readily apparent that any concerns will be too bothersome. So...here's how it works, they get together and make a decision, then when you object, "it was the right thing to do" comes out from every and all their mouths. Tax issues, moving, housing, schools, transportation, health care, etc, will be decided by the company and will be "unanimously approved" by the MEC. Maybe they will take an off site to Bermuda and pass around our e-mails of protest, and have a big yuk. YOYO baby!

We can barely manage what we have already. Besides, when do we ever innovate?

some new, some not so new. Amazing how they can sign an order for new planes one day, and go shopping at Omar's used airplane lot the next.
