Be careful with some of the atlas flights. I’ve gotten burned when they were switched from an atlas 74 to a Southern 777. Southern doesn’t have JS agreements with everyone. Atlas was awesome every time I’ve asked an international ride from them.

Unless you’re with Delta or Southwest (I assume you’re not) Atlas and Southern have essentially the exact same jumpseat agreements, not sure how that tail swap managed to mess up your ride. When something like that happens it helps to reach out your jumpseat committee so that we can make sure the process goes more smoothly for the next guy.

Thanks everyone. I will be riding with Kalitta. They’ve a jumpseat agreement with the airline I’m employed with. I’ve taken notes here and I look forward to the trip in a two weeks span.

God speed.

Don’t forget to download some movies or music - our old ladies don’t have any entertainment on board, but you’ll enjoy the space and quiet of not having to deal with the self-loading cargo. Enjoy the Whale!

And if anyone has flown into Leipzig recently post July 1st, and is aware of the custom procedures, please let me know. Thank you.
