Funny you say that. The old guys at mesa are the ones who approved the 734 and are going to be flying it. Wait until the 3am flights kick in. They are going to love that

No mention of years of service at Mesa equaling the pay rate on the new equipment. From what I gather everyone starts are year one pay. Saw it (Or lack there of) on their Alpa negotiations for the new jet.

It’s more than a twelve year (top of the scale) Atlas 767 Captain. Southern's 737 pay tops out at 178.

Do current Mesa captains & first officers bring their longevity over to the 737 if they choose to transition? I’d assume yes but wouldn’t put anything past JO.

They took notes from Expressjet and gojet, just watch. Come fly the big jet, but start at the new 1st year pay for Mesa “cargo.” It’s a Boeing type, just think of all the places you can go with that.

Are we sure they start at year 1? Like has anyone seen this in writing or is it just rumor?
