Atlas is going to REALLY have a hard time denying their pilots a pay raise after a $406 million windfall from the taxpayers.

Greed; one of the best of the seven deadly sins....
Airline Execs are a special breed of human unto themselves.

I do think at the time of application everybody was expecting to be out of business soon without help. As it turned out, it was a boon for cargo haulers.

If they don’t give it back, the raises should flow company wide.

If congresspeople writing upset letters meant you had to pay $400M the world would be very different, this is not "the govt" asking, this is a letter from a politician, it may matter, it may not. The details / agreements they signed when accepting this funding will be what matters. They will not be alone in the windfall world.

Still though, not a good look if not justified or returned.

A deal is a deal....

Why give it back to the politicians who squandered billions on much less productive “programs”? I would tell them to shove it. How about the millions given in unemployment fraud. Reports of millions wasted in double and triple payments or more to single individuals scamming the system. You make a deal you keep the deal.

Because it is the right thing to do. Do you know that they ran out of money long before they were able to supply many, many small business that have since closed. But of course you keep the money, sure a deal is a deal you write. Sadly you are a reflection of what is wrong with this country.

I don't know about Atlas, but for K4, there were only 2 people at the company aware of the payment before the story broke. They were the same 2 peolle who deny the pilots a contract. The COO and CFO.
