And you disagreed with your own point. Sim country is more expensive that southern is. So DHL is looking at performance. Amazon will do the same. That’s why they keep asking K4 to fly 76s for them.
Exactly. DHL are all about on-time performance and there is a pay penalty when metal moves late. K4 can't "fudge" their times as its all ACARS based yet I have seen others numerous times call "Out" and still be sitting with a door open or not even ready to move. DHL aren't stupid they realize that and question how a trip took xx minutes longer than normal and arrived late.

Amazon is constantly asking K4 to fly for them but Connie isn't giving up diddly of his company to Bezos and DHL want us to do more for them. Couple of issues with that which are being resolved, one we can't expand anymore due to FAA restrictions and until we finalize and certify as flag, we can only take 3 more airframes and two, need to train crews.

Why is that? Would you say pax flying for several different companies with all their different procedures is easier or harder than flying a CMI contract for a efficient streamlined freight company? How about their safety record? Last time I looked I don’t see their pilots crashing aircraft into the ground due to pilot error? I don’t see their tug drivers tearing the tails off of other aircraft during ground operations. I haven’t seen any dumpsters getting hit at high speed on 25L in LAX? Mesa is no worse than other carriers and better than some.

Perhaps you should talk facts and leave the childish remarks back at the commuter board.

My experience of seeing many, many pilots come through training at Southern is that Mesa occasionally provides a solid pilot. Many times ex-Mesa pilots have below average skills/experience compared to other regionals. Just my small snapshot.

CAT III Autoland. God knows we wouldn’t want a Mesa pilot landing the airplane.

They are going into the DHL pipeline. Who gets them yet isn't clear. They are coming from Delta and going to IAI for freighter conversion first.

Huh? Amazon bought them. It seems highly unlikely that Amazon would want to give them to DHL.

True that. Cujo probably meant to say "Amazon". And, as modified, he's basically right.

Not even clear that the Delta 7 are coming to the US.

I do believe, however, that at least one of the Westjet ones will be operated by ATI, which means that at least one Amazon-owned aircraft probably will be operating in the US. That gives no clue about what's going to happen to the other 10 (4 Westjet plus 7 DL minus 1 to ATI).

Nor does it say anything about who is going to operate the 6 767s that CAM is going to lease to Amazon in the last 9 months of 2021 (the 5 in the first 3 months of 2021, it was announced officially some time ago, will be operated by ATI). But it is an interesting data point.

Also, it will be interesting to see how quickly IAI can process these 7 aircraft on top of the 4 Westjet/Amazon ones plus the 6 that CAM currently has in TLV plus the (at least) 2 more that CAM will be sending to TLV for completion this year plus whatever DHL sends them this year. They have the benefit of a growing MEX line in addition to TLV, and 2 of the 4 Westjets are currently in MEX, but 15 aircraft plus at least 2 more DHL is a lot. Can they do it all by year-end? I don't doubt that they will try.
