FDX Discount Q -- Cingular
Hey!
Cingular just told me that we no longer have a 20% discount with their company. The customer service representative told me that the "discount number" is still in the system but it does no longer provides a discount.
Anyone else experience this? If this is incorrect, can someone point me in the right direction? (I know there is some type of super secret green screen discount system, but alas, not sure of the inner workings).
Thanks

Sprint discount
We get a decent discount with Sprint (22% I think?).
That said, I've had bad luck with their "free" phones (2 have died and they charge me $55 for a replacement). And I thought that the reception on my previous T-Mobile cell phones was much better. It's not likely that I'll stay with Sprint after my contract is up.

We get a Verizon discount too........I think Cingular just merged with ATT and that might be your problem.

From the Flight Ops main menu, select Mainframe. Then launch the BlueZone 3270 software. When you get a Mainframe display, type "mail". Enter your user id and password, the same ones you use for any of the FedEx systems. You will be presented with an TAO main screen... Select "B" for Bulletin Board, then type "fun". You will be taken to a part of the system which holds the fun stuff, both for Memphis as well as National. Place an "L" in the column next to either Funstuff-mem or funstuff-nat. Then PFKey 8 to go forward and PFKey 7 to go backwards (from screen to screen), while the space bar will move you down from one line to the next. When you find something that interests you, put a "R" next to it and hit the enter key.
Hope this helps. Oh by the way, PFKey 2 will get you out of there.

Also try
www.cingular.com/benefits/fedex
It takes you to an ATT site, and it looks like the discount is still there. Hope that helps.
