Default Gemini Air Cargo questions

I know Gemini Air cargo has been out of business for a while. I have a unique questions. Did they use a bidpack to figure monthly schedules for trips? Or were they more on demand/ad hoc schedules. I thought it was a two week on/two week schedule on call and then they’d assigned trips.

Gemini Air Cargo folded towards the Fall of 2008. There was a few bid packets for monthly schedules. Bid packets was mostly for the MD11s since that fleet was used mostly for long term contract flying. The DC10s was mostly on demand and used mostly for military and the usual Miami charter to the Caribbean and Central/South America. The schedules was mostly 15 days on. Was never 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Many great folks that worked there. Hope they all found greener pastures.
