crickets chirping at UPS HR?
 

I was just wondering if there has been any folks getting E-mailed for online assessments since the closing of the last window. I have been lurking on this site recently and there has been precious little talk of anyone either taking an assessment recently or getting an interview call--just guys getting in class that have been in the pool since March or earlier.

Has anyone moved forward in the process recently since the overwater thing came in or know of any interviewing going on at this time? Does this perceived slowdown have anything to do with all the post 727 training going on?

Phil D said they were still interviewing 2-3 per day right now. There are about 1570 apps on file right now. They plan to hire about 100 more this year with ANC being the biggest domicile to fill. The acceptance rate for people interviewed is slightly better than 50% so go figure...200 more to interview for 2007?

"ANC being the biggest domicile to fill".............. Hahaha!!!!! There's no f'ing sim, nor have they tried to find slots elsewhere. The sim will continue to crash. UPS is an incredible company, but the training facility is really bad, probably better at Sun Country or Jet Blue.
