A friend who is a honey badger fan sent this to me regarding this (Incident: Ethiopian B738 at Ndola on Apr 4th 2021, landed at airport under construction). Sharing is caring.

Even Honey Badgers have standards. They are offended by the comparison.

Did you even look at the meme or the aviation herald report? It wasn't a single instance of landing at the wrong airport. It was two attempts by two different flights, on the same day, at the same wrong airport, by the same airline. Refresh my memory captjns ... When has the same outfit attempted to land at the wrong airport twice in one day? Some people can't take a joke I guess.

For anyone else easily offended by this, for the record, it was two separate ET 737F's who attempted to land at the same wrong airport in Zambia on the same day, about 2.5 hours apart from each other. The first flight actually did land, then pretty much immediately took off again (there's video filmed by the construction workers of it on YouTube) and the second flight went around at about 50ft AGL. This isn't an established airport getting renovated, it's a brand new airport that isn't open yet. Seriously folks, this meme is meant to be a joke, no need for anyone to get their knickers in a twist.
