The only thing that doesn't already happen 24/7 at the Big 2 express package carriers are last mile customer deliveries...which I'm pretty sure USPS, Amazon, and ACMI airlines don't do either.

FedEx has struggled some with the demand increase, but I’m sure they will figure it out. As for the rest of your rant, perhaps you should drink less and work harder at getting a better job.
