nothing new, maybe for US 121 carriers but the technology is not new and other Boeings and Airbus around the world have it

LAIRCM, DIRCM, CIRCM systems have been around for well over a decade. Nothing ground breaking. Definitely focus on the paying the folks as other threats exist as well.

I think I would be more interested in an anti-laser missile system to use on the next jackwagon that tries to light up my cockpit.

If your main hub is in Memphis, I can understand why FedEx is interested in aircraft defensive systems…now we need to start practicing small arms avoidance maneuvers.
