Anything is possible. Many things are unlikely. Hiring someone with 1500 hours and a fresh ATP who got that time flying military transports? Possible. Hiring someone with 1500 hours and a fresh ATP who got that time flying 172s plus a few hours in an Apache? Unlikely.

1,501 hours, minimal multi turbine time with an Initial ATP with a fresh DC-9 Type Rating, a captain does not make. But hey… stranger events have been known to happen.

Considering it's 121, you'd still need the 1000 hours of qualifying time, so yeah...

someone hired at a 121 with 250hrs before the ATP rule could theoretically have the 1000hrs 121 required for upgrade and yet also not have 1500hrs. Rare situation but 100% possible

Does USA Jet make you load/unload the aircraft?

Are the days worked (or off) per month clumped together (like a 7/7 schedule....etc)?

Always Hiring.....Until They're Not

Will be interesting to see if in this cycle USA needs people through the downturn.

Obviously there is a pilot shortage, but in the past Road Runner has been the ultimate 'hire 'till you fire' carrier, cutting people loose who just signed a training contract and finished IOE. Tough to say this time, as there really is a reluctance within the hallowed halls of the C-Suite to cut any valuable employee free (valuable to them, as in difficult to retrain or rehire).

Get your popcorn ready. The smartest guys in the room are waiting for the shoe to drop on the global economy.

Economists and weathermen are some of the only people who can be consistently wrong and still keep their jobs.
