Just got an email to interview. My APP was pulled at American 3 weeks ago for review and I am scheduled to meet United at the upcoming MTC in Dallas. Not sure what to do... is there a training contract with ATI? would love to get back in the cockpit but don't want to waist time either...

Go enjoy your career at the big leagues, there’s no training contract.

I have many more interviews, meet & greets, and application reviews than I have job offers. Take what's in front of you when it's offered.

It’s never a sure thing until you’re sitting in class.

Default Upgrade pay & contract

I never got any responses on this:

I guess this is a contract question:

"I note that third year & up FO pay is higher than first year Captain...does that relate only to street hires - i.e. do you save pay when you upgrade? Speaking of contract, any rumors on the negotiations?"

The drop in straight pay to upgrade seems so odd - is that something the union wanted, or the company? Would like to see that go away.

Your longevity doesn’t reset. Year 3 FO upgrades and passes he is now on year 3 CA pay.
