Started recently. Chill, laid back, welcoming vibe from everyone from top to bottom. Instructors seem to have a very positive "we're here to make sure you all make it through" attitude. Not in sim yet, but Sim instructors are all contract instructors....very experienced retired legacy folks. It's about 2 months start to finish. Sims are ILN or DFW.

It’s the entitlement mentality of the regional new hires coming in here over the last 2 years who are causing discord and pulling down morale. We’re gonna walk out of this with a contract making everyone else cry. Likely by summers end. Negotiations are going very well at the moment. The future is incredible bright at ATI. The industry is crazy right now, but we are still top dog on the block with Amazon. We surely don’t need guy in our ranks painting a picture that’s not accurate. Sounds like you should go find another carrier dude!
This is obviously a management troll...I would not listen to a word he says. CLUELESS in ILN
There are much greater opportunities for a pilot than ATI...the whole place is one big revolving door. Retirement alone is worth millions over the course of a career at almost all other carriers...do your homework.

MM - you make a good point but don't assume everyone is in your situation. I only have a handful of years left and just want max paycheck. ATI has appeal but direct-entry Captain with Contour is getting my attention...

Could have saved the bold type and anything else with a simple "I'm a regional guy," but that might have required spelling it correctly.

Usually heard in the west as "I'm from California and you need to do things the way we do."

Everybody loves to hear, "I'm from the regionals and this is how we did it..."

What did you do in high school?

Can someone from ATI please PM me? I have a very random question/request about your Amazon uniform attire.

Thanks!

Realistic competitive mins seem to be somewhere around 1000 turbine.

Can you expand on this? New hires coming in with ATP mins?

I applied a little under a year ago with 1500TT and a fresh ATP but never heard back. Now I'm at 2200TT but still no turbine and all but gave up on the idea of ATI calling.

I know some people who got picked up at ATI with 1500TT and an ATP but they did have turbine. Have you applied at every app window since?
