do you know what steps to take in getting your license in ICAO and how difficult is it? ive looked at their page before and wondered maybe or why not but the ICAO thing is something i dont have!

If you hold a US ATP...you have an ICAO ATP. What most of us do not have is a JAA ATP...expensive to get.

Does anyone know what the difference in pay is between their cargo operation and their pax op? (or if there even is one?)

Freight Dog 01-13-2006 10:00 AM

I'll be working on the C.P. US-based pax payscale next week. Look for it to be posted by Thursday.

This is by far one of the best sites, Thanks for all your info. Any luck getting the pay scale for the Pax side of C.P. I hear it's pretty elaborate.

Hey Freight Dog,

When I click on the link I get,

"FORBIDDEN

You tried to access a document for which you don't have privileges."

What's up with that? I tried it several times ... Thanks

Rama 11-19-2006 08:40 AM

I came up with the same thing. You can get to it going through the airline/international section. The pay was somewhat lower than I thought it would be.

Thanks for the repost of the page

Actually "Freight Dog" I was wondering about the PAX pay not just cargo pay. Thanks

Freight Dog 11-19-2006 03:03 PM

jwes, if I recall correctly there are some 8 to 10 different passenger payscales at Cathay. None were submitted, so we've stuck to the freight so far.

jetset 11-19-2006 05:26 PM

Freight Dog, how do I make it so I can search and send PMs? For some reason my account is blocked from doing so.

Jwes. Are you still in SJU?

jwes 11-19-2006 05:58 PM

Jetset, Yessser still in SJU, but I got the bid in for a jet somewhere, probably get it this next one.

Freight Dog, I realize I was asking a bit much, but a man has to have dreams.

jetset 11-19-2006 08:19 PM

Jwes. Glad to hear you are doing well. I would PM you and reveal my identity, but I can't PM on this board. I guess we can catch up at the next WIA convention :)

jetset 11-30-2006 04:18 PM

Figured it out. Guess I need 25 posts to be able to PM.

jwes 11-30-2006 04:54 PM

Your almost there!

My friend just got hired there. The PAX pay scale was about 30% higher.
