Default Question for FedEx Min BLG types

For those of you out there that drop trips and have no desire to make them up, do you have a way to adjust your BLG for the current month? Or do you just wait for the 15th of next month to take the hit?

I don't think you can do anything about it with crew pay or payroll in this case. I would rathole some $$ from the current month for the 15th depending on how much you dropped.

One month I dropped more trips than the next month's 1/2 BLG so my 15th pay was 0. I had to write a check to Harvey Watt and ALPA for my LTD and other insurances.

Call your flight manager prior to the first of the month and he/she can adjust your BLG. That will keep you from getting the multiple months of spread out readjustment pain.

The flight manager is the best option, but you can also call crew pay during the first two or three days of the month, and they can do the same thing for you.

Hey, I called crew pay they sent me to payroll who then told me if it could be done, it had to be done by futures! (Yea futures is so helpful, do not even get me started on my last VTO line!)

Maybe I’ll just ask the ramp agent at NRT or HKG the next time I swing by. They seem to be able and willing to do anything—while the support folks in Memphis do not seem to get anything right, nor care if they convey total incompetence in their job knowledge.

Thanks KnightFlyer, Kwr10s and Haywood JB for your help I’ll give my flight manager a try.

Just keep a few thousand in the checking account as a budget pad. And take the check book out of your wife's purse.

...like I said, I don't think crew pay or payroll will help. They didn't even pay my normal payroll deductions with my end-of-month deposit ($0 on the 15th). They responded that I had to take it up with Harvey Watt and ALPA on my own. Didn't make sense to me. If there's no dough to pay your normal payroll deductions on the 15th, they should pay them at the end of the month.
