ICAO exp into FAA?
Hey! Question
If im a us citizen, but did most of my flight time outside USA on heavy acft, can i convert some of that time into faa? Around 4000 TT in A320/B787 but now i need to get 1k in far 121… could be handy to shorten that a little bit. Thoughts? Thanks!!! |
All of your foriegn flight times count as total time, category, class, and type, SIC & PIC, etc.
The 1000 hours of 121 SIC required to upgrade can *only* be acquired at a US 121 (or certain 135) operations. There's no allowance for foriegn airline time (which is not 121 time). You cannot upgrade in the US, or take a DEC position, as it stands now. |
