On another note. No FDAs line examples have been put out yet. With a 3hr one way limo ride to the hub (btw you all know this is not on the clock),.How is the company going to cover RA and RB periods? Is the crew member responsible for his/hers own lodging near the hub? Food? Too many unknowns to let this document be shove down on our throats.

Not STS, it's STN
In my opinion it is a matter of necessity. Not your aviation back round what will make an individual take a job here (HKG or CDG). In regard to the ATLAS STS rumor or possibility that it will happen here... Let the company get new hires out there if that is what they want. At the end of 2 years perhaps 1 year these individuals can claim hardship (good luck on this one) and/or find themselves down bidding only to lock themselves for 2 yrs (it might still be a pay raise).

At the end of the day, people that want to be in either FDA will bid it. To them I will say go gripe to someone else on how crappy you situation is in the new FDA. And get used to hearing "You Bid It, You had a Choice"

Not to mention, the waiver to the 2 hr limit is in a section titled Surface transportation from Hong Kong to Guangzhou.
Have you even read the LOA, or are you just randomly throwing out moronic comments?

Actually, this one section of the LOA is one of the few parts that makes sense. At least much more than the measly housing allowance and lack of COLA.

I stand corrected. I did also hear that the reserves will be doing week long hotel standbys so I guess the lodging is taken care off.

A few more moronic thoughts...
That section still leaves a lot hanging out there. Where will you start your trip? Will it be like current FDA trips where the ground transportation starts at your house? What if the Captain lives in Tung Chung and the F/O lives on the Gold Coast? Does the F/O get picked up first, and ride for an extra 45 minutes? Does the GT portion of the trip start at the airport? Will they be able to find a single Chinese driver who can keep his foot steady on the accelerator? In what kind of vehicle will the crews be acquiring Asian Driver Happy Foot Induced Whiplash (A.D.H.F.I.W)? Morons like me want to know. Cuz I might bid it...you know...cuz I'm a moron....it would take one to do so at this point.

Actually, I only called your comment moronic, especially after you chided several others for not reading the LOA. However, if you want to claim the title, your welcome to it. It's nice to see Fedex supports hiring "special" people, even if they hide them in the Phillipines.
