Wet lease threat??? Oh, my.

Let's see. Even if the LOA passes, what's to stop FDX from expanding current CBA, (or 6 years from now after the next CBA is inked) with wet-leasing, or transfering this FDA-LOA ALPA flying to an ACMI or alter-ego? Even if we agree to this POS, they could still transfer that flying. Agreeing that the FDA troops are protected under the CBA still doesn't change any of the definitions in SCOPE!

If they are threatening to do so, then they've already done their homework. I say it's better to know the magnitude of our "SCOPE" fight TODAY, and not at some artificial time in the future.

I, for one, am tired of being intimidated, bullied, and having MY SKILLS scoffed at. Give me the AVG ex-pat deal, then I think we have a deal. It doesn't have to be an EXECUTIVE deal, just an AVG worker deal, which keeps me close to cost neuteral in the big picture vs. staying put in the US.

Define the parameters of the fight today, and CALL THE BLUFF!

Let them wet lease. More money for us (I mean the MEC to give to the old, don't want to retire guys)!

Still, I agree with CM and A300 above. The time to find out what leverage we have is before we swallow the shiat sandwich, not 4 years later when we have to give up even more to get rid of it.

Vote this Turd DOWN!

NO! DW and the rest of the MEC want to invest that cash for you, because they know best.
