JS'ing home from Asia?

Just curious what your experiences have been trying to catch a JS on the PAX carriers to the States from Asia?

I guess FedEx types don't do this too often since they've got 100% commercial tickets, but I've got a four-leg-three-day scheduled DH (on a Brown a/c) at the end of my next pairing. Thought I might try to bee-line it home (from Hong Kong) on Continental.

Any special concerns or procedures? Uniform? Check-in at the ticket counter or gate? Taxes? Anyone we can't ride on? Likelihood of sitting in a middle coach seat for 15 hours (I think I'd actually prefer the floor of the 767) :)

Anything else you can think of that's worth knowing?

Thanks a lot!

Depending on what you want for times and departures we service Hong Kong by way of ICN (Seoul, Korea). We have non-stops from ICN to LAX and ORD. If you are interested see our website for details and schedules. As long as you are in CASS you shouldn't have a problem. Click on either the polar or atlas thumbnails on the left side and that will take you to a page were you can see the "OAL jumpseat" request page.

I believe Northwest permits international j/s for CASS pilots. If I remember correctly, there must be a seat in the cabin for you? NWA guys, please feel free to pipe in here ...
