I hope I'm in the silent majority, but sadly I doubt it.

I voted no yesterday because I hate to imagine what our contract will look like in 10 years if this LOA passes. If this LOA represents what our union NC hopes to achieve as the standard for future growth, then we are in big trouble.

I attended several hub turn LOA meetings, and left all of them feeling sick. The message was the same. We have no negotiating capital to get a better deal, so take it or leave it. How can that be? Record profits, new aircraft on order, the world on time, tons of overtime flying, fuel savings programs......

Hey ALPA, how about asking the members how they want to spend their hard earned negotiating capital. If FDA's represent our future growth, then why in world would we be low balling from the onset. How is this going to affect the next deal.

One last point....What kind of LOA would we be voting on if Fedex had posted a loss last quarter?

Great post. Why do we have to pay for FedEx's money saving domicile expansion. Tired of lurking, joining the lunatic fringe...
