Push to go to the 26th NOON meeting

Come on guys. We need a large showing for this one. Noon to 2pm tomorrow, be there.
Maybe we can get some of the daytime, senior guys who have not yet read this POS to show up and find out that there may be something rotten in Denmark. Show up, and be an usher to get the lemmings into the crew room, instead of checking their laptops for their stock earnings, and searching for a slick mooney to buy to get themselves to their favorite summer home on their off days.

They need to know how this will effect the majority of fedex pilots in the futere.

check the time

I thought it said noon to 2pm on the email???

Yep - my email says noon to 2 pm. I've not taken the time to attend a meeting yet...but I'll be there tomorrow.

Thanks for the catch. I'll be there at NOON.

Would you please Post a recap of the meeting here?

A great time to ask those questions be posed on this forum!

Walked in at the last and asked do we travel on our own time when STV'ed or on the company's. Told "why sure on the company's wouldn’t expect any less" not sure how he knows and no one else. Asked why if we had no leverage for a better deal, how come the company issued a side letter on the STV section. Was told the company was not giving up anything, as their original intent was to only do a month. Tried to ask why it was in the LOA 30-90 if no intent to go 90 but the MEC rep really just wanted to go to the next question. He seemed to me not to want to debate anything, just say his line and go on.

I wish the guys trying to do the hard sell could just step back and listen to them selves. They sound like my kid when caught in a lie they just keep changing the story instead of fessing up. Also, during negotiations we were told we needed to firm up the gray areas in the contract with clear language. Now we are told to trust the company? WTF??? After all was the intent of R-24 to really do hotel stby???

I think "expect anything less" is 2 steps closer to factual then "I would assume". But I'll run it by my lawyer.

You asked if we would get paid to go over, I told you yes. You asked about leverage and the word change to the LOA re: inverse STV. I answered you and told you why and the background. If you didn't understand and I didn't hear your followup question, I'm sorry if I moved on. Feel free to call me to discuss it further.

Sleepy,

Talked to both our in house atty and contract admin guy today. Neither knew if we would get paid to go over and come back or not. Seems that if we do get paid each way it is basically SIBA with what I consider a less than adequate LOA.

Sincerely,
Past...
