Hub Jobs
Does anyone know what the current hub jobs pay? If you know a kid working out there, I was wondering what they could expect as far as pay, numbers of hrs per week, medical, tuition assistance?
I know what to expect as far as working conditions, etc... I am out there every night just like you. Just wanted to answer these questions for a neighbor's wayward 24 yr old kid. Thanks for serious answers.

Same now. My stepson started in Feb at $10.84/hr. He's already driving tugs (a scary thought, based on his street driving record) and got a small raise for that.

in addition, we get tution reimbursdement, $3,000 / year, every little bit helps, does this 24 yr old have any college? If so, if he sticks it out and stays with the company, there are many advancement opportunities from within . . .

It seems like they are always hiring . . . I recommend this guy calling the FedEx Memphis Hub Operations Job Line at 901-369-3345. That should tell him everything he needs to know regarding when, where, and how to get a hub job.

I know a "loader" that just interviewed for a job in Flight Coordination. I wrote him a letter of recommendation, he got the job ... and says it's a pretty big pay raise. He has a 4 year degree ...
