Attrition has gone down since the previous CEO/DO left. Only hiring for 2 Caravan pilots currently, and the company has removed all of its ATR positions on the website for over a week. Definitely caught up on hiring if you look at the ATR schedule; hardly anyone is flying their PTO weeks now. I volunteered to fly all of mine and didn't get offered a single one.

A great day was when the former president of MAC, due to his incompetence and ego, was voted off the island.

Former MAC employee here. The DO, a true gentleman, who is at the helm, is a true stand up person who has non only the team’s welfare at heart, but the company’s success at his interest too.

I don’t think they are running any new hire classes because of the virus. They might be interviewing, there hasn’t been much talk. Upgrade times are right when you get 1000 hours. But, it could be years unless you have prior 121 time. If you don’t live in a base, they may hire you as a floater. But just know you will most likely be gone Sunday through Saturday spending 1 day at home for your 24 in 7 and the back on the road. Do that for 3 weeks and then you are off for 1 week. Living in a base is the best QOL. You will most likely see memphis or indy. The Carolina bases are all full and senior. DLH you might be able to do. Just give them a call and see what bases are actually open.
