I stand before you a person who for the past six years operated an illegal dogfighting operation in which hundreds of dogs were tortured and killed. I am sorry. I am a criminal. I wish I can go back six years ago, but I can't. I wish I can undo my past transgressions, but I can't. I stand before you a person, naked and unarmed. I beg that you may find it in your heart to forgive me someday. Until then I will do everything I can from this day forward to right my wrongs.

Until that message comes across, this is all about getting back in the NFL. Notice who the first person he apologized to in the speech: not his family, his mom, or his friends. Goodell.
Just a quick question, and something to think about. Who is worse, Mike Vick or Travis Henry? And Why?

As long as Travis Henry doesn't get his arse suspended,( I made him a high fantasy draft pick) he's ok.

Well, they claim that the life expectancy is really unknown, since so few die of simple aging. We have a JR, and a Doberman. I'm sure you can guess who runs the show. They really are fabulous companions, though.

Easy. Vick.
Henry hasn't broken any laws. If a guy decides he wants to have 9 kids by 9 different women and blow all his money, that's his right. Doesn't make him very bright or much of a role model, but there's nothing illegal about irresponsible procreation in the USA(although it's an interesting thought).

I don't think we have to decide which is worse...they both are reprehensible and indicative of a man completely lacking in morals or judgement. I must've seriously missed something growing up...I'm not sure how any American "community" can think NINE baby-mommas or dogfighting is in any way understandable or okay. Bizarre.

If the only test is what's "legal," we're in a sad state.

As a Tennessee fan (Vols, not Titans), it pains me to see how messed up Travis has become.

There is a higher standard than civil law, and we should expect more.

Drafting a Mike Shanahan-coached RB.....risky, risky, risky. Not gonna do it. Nope. No way, no how. Hope that wasn't your first round pick. I could see making him #2 in a deeper league, but Shanahan always has a way of ruining fantasy owners best-laid plans. Sure looks like this year could be different, but doesn't it always?

Sure, all true. Sad state to be sure. But the question posed was whose actions were worse. I'm thinking convicted felon versus irresponsible distributer of sperm. Sorry, I gotta go with the convicted felon on this one.

At least I answered the question.

I agree with you, just trying to throw out some food for thought.
