I was just talking about that with an FO last week. I know they all survived but what's a short recap of what they're all up to now. If I remember correctly, none of them were able to fly again, correct?

I didn't know that much about the incident either, then I watched "Air Emergency" on the National Geographic channel.

Pretty sobering situation.

Calloway bashed a hole in the FO's skull, and none of the three are able to fly after the situation.

This should give you some of the details that you are asking. Better yet come to the presentation tonight Aug 31. See www.msairshow.com for details.

Unfortunately, I can't make it to MEM on such short notice. I saw CA Al Haynes (United 232 in SUX) speak and it was awesome. I can only imagine tonight would be just as good.

There is a book called "Hijacked" by David Hirschman (sp) that details the whole incident. He was the aviation reporter for Commercial Appeal during that time.

I was in attendance this evening . . . all three crew were present as well as the author of the book. I was impressed with Capt. Tucker and his message, very religious man, many scriptures referenced. I'm glad the story has a good ending . . .

Definitely get this book. It's one of those that you can't put down till your done. It's well written and makes you feel like your there in the A/C cheering these guys on. Not knowing how it all turned out I was actually cheering when I read the sentencing part.
