Oct 1st UPS class
Got the good news for class Oct 1st. Was told everything in that class is to Anchorage, MD-11s and 747s. Just wondering what others have been told? Also, wondering which airframe will give me the best opportunity to fly international out of SDF the quickest?
For those wondering, applied in the April window, lots of overwater experience (fortunate for me), interviewed Aug 8th, invited to "continue the interview process" (drug and background checks) 2 weeks later, and called today with classdate.

The MD is supposed to be downsizing in SDF, and the new 747's are not supposed to be based there at all if I remember correctly. The only other option is 75z which is domiciled in SDF. Not sure when any of those options will come open to you though....

Maybe I missed it, but I've only seen one post where an assessment was sent from applying on this latest application window (15 Aug 07)... anyone else receiving them???
I've also heard that the training department is SO backed up that these app's may not get called for a while for interviews etc. Anyone else hearing the same?

Congrats to you all. You'll be out in time for skiing/snowboarding. See ya at humpys or F street for a cold one. Any intel on future classes, pool size, etc when you meet for your brief would really be appreciated. Swimming like an otter and looking to be brown .

Interview early Sept
Conditional employment offer after interview
- pending (Drug test, background check)
The following info from Hr during interview. Classes scheduled through the remainder of the year. All hired from now to the end of the year are Alaska bound.
Interview process was very straight forward and everyone at UPS went to great lengths to make it as stress free as possible. I found it a very positive experience.
