You are right. John O'Neil does suck. But we have other ex-military who are good guys....both in and outside of management.
With regard to the secret plans. I am too low on the totem pole to have any specific information, but I know that UPS has plans for a strike.

Were did Nicholson come from Huh? MMMM let me see it was the Military. More specific the Marine Corp. That doesn't count though does it? Thats the whole problem. It's ok for you but not everybody else. It seems as if it's only 5 posters here from the 2700 plus IPA members posting here how bad UPS is. Oh then there is the three Fed UP pilots who come on and just bash UPS from just hearsay. What really surprised me is today (day after Christmas) I come on too have a look and see the same people posting on Christmas when they should be spending it with their families. Any how Happy Holidays and lighten up it will all work out in the end.
