Until it's in a written agreement between ABX and 1224 it's subject to change. Even the terms that the company published in their most recent letter are subject to change at any time as they see fit.

For anyone hoping to come on board for a 767 job in
Asia, you might want to consider that ABX has yet to secure the permission of the Japanese government to domicile US crew in Japan. As I understand it, no US airline has EVER been allowed to do this.

But we were told that they had a group of lawyers that said it could be done...........

Do you mean they might not know what they are doing. Say it isn't so.

This would be a great time to come aboard. Get on as a super junior 76 Captn or F/O for the Asia domicile, then when the company cannot get the domicile approved........ bingo you are now 76 Captn or F/O in ILN. Wonder how they will solve that grievance problem.

Gee- just pay me 767 Capt rates to fly the 9 as long as any junior types are flying the airplane out of ILN

You mean they would hire street Captains for KIX? You are kidding right? What a mess.

Don't worry about street captains, the lure of the almighty greenback will take care of that. Now the FO side, well there's at least 16 new hires. I wouldn't be surprised to see new hires/recalls to ILN in the 9. As these proffers get awarded, the 9 FO seat is getting leaner and leaner.

You are seriously kidding if you think that anyone has thought of peak yet. Good lord man it is only September. It's not like the start of the X-mas buying season is 8 weeks away. We wont ponder being understaffed for peak until about December 5th, maybe the 4th if someone in management is bucking for a kudos from his boss.....

ultra hope to get you on property ASAP. I am getting tired of flying more than 2 times in a block of reserve. If I wanted to fly I would bid a line.....(ha ha)

Default you haven't been called yet?

ultradrvr;
let me get this straight. you have not been called once since your furlough? i don't mean to be insensitive or probing but that is not the word on the "streets of iln".
it has been quoted by flight management/chief pilots just last week, in 'bottoms up meetings' that all furloughees have been contacted and offered the opportunity to return. you are telling us readers that is not true. sorry to sound incredulous because i know that flight management is not truthful, but this is a fact that can be quickly investigated and disputed.
i echo everyone's sentiments, i wish you a speedy return to iln, if that is your desire and goal. these are certainly contentious times between management and the union, as well as between unions (abx and astar), at iln.
when you get here, keep your head down. a lot of shrapnel and debris.
