"O" and "his" use "of quotations"

He's ANG not regular Air "Farce"......
That being the case, he might have learned it early in his ANG "fighter pilot" career at "The Academy" (Academy of Military Science that is...)
I've heard they have an advanced course there reserved only for the elite ANG future leadership entitled:
"Effective Leadership by Written Communication to Subordinates"
Subtitled - "The Art of Using Quotation Marks to Appear to be a 'Regular Guy' While Remaining Completely Out of Touch and Aloof"

he didn't go to "The Academy". He joined the unit after flying active duty and didn't ever fly for the guard.

Sort of off topic but I heard a funny story the other day on a trip. During an AOC discussion of a recent "O" gram, one of the participants made the comment..."I don't mind his emails, but why does he sign all of them with a zero?" It was an honest question apparently. I don't know "O" at all, but "Zero" is a nickname that could stick on anyone.

O.K. I'll take the bait and respond.
I am only a majority in the sense that I rule all of the other voices in my head.
I think that the SCP opened himself up for general ribbing when he said in his first email that English is his second language. I made a joke, and that is all.
Thank you for the suggestion. I was only making a joke (as I stated previously). However, I will take your suggestion under advisement.
Does the SCP have a secretary? I would think that he would have someone readily available to assist him in language, grammar, and software usage concerns.
Now that I have wasted 15 minutes I would again like to reiterate that I was merely making a joke and I am sorry that only the majority of you realized that.

Beertini,
My point was this: Guys on this board, not all of course, but enough of them, write and spell as if they have never taken an English class in their lives. As well, their spelling is atrocious. Their excuse, in lots of cases, has always been, "hey, I'm a pilot, not an English major." Well, that might be so, but using a spell checker goes a long way in eliminating those kinds of mistakes. Poor grammar and poor spelling shows a lack of attention to detail, a trait the we pilots are famous for (the attention to detail, not the lack thereof), and so I agree with you that O's emails could be better, for many reasons. The obvious one being it's Tennessee for crying out loud, would you really expect his secretary to do any better? The short version is: people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. And I wasn't talking about you.
