Didn't I read somewhere that JL started the precedent that all retreads can bid to the 10 backseat? Regardless of manning.

That's what DW said at a recent union meeting. I'm not sure I understand why the company would do that when there is an excess bid on the DC-10???

Ask the guys that got excessed off the bottom of the sideways seat on the 10. They're scheduled for 727 school later this winter.

Actually, if I got excessed off the Bus for some reason...I guess I would be able to go the the 10 left seat.

Same difference, really. The over 60 guys are being excessed, due to excess years.

I was about to go over and deliver on my promise to ask you to call me a "scab" to my face for not agreeing with you on Age 60. Then I saw how tired and really, well, senior you looked. Get some rest George. BTW, I grabbed a shot of you with my phone since it was your last flight. You look better without the glasses...

The crazy thing though is that most of them are over 60 too.

Man, I wonder is anyone will show up for cake in the AOC tomorrow to hear such wonderful anecdotes about good ole George. What a fine representative of the APAAD braintrust.

Happy Birthday, DL.
