Don't think Albie is trying to spin his way into block rep status as a politician. And hopefully, he will keep posting his opinions in various forums if elected.

And I agree with his recent line of thinking. It is wild.

And, if he's our a-hull, rather have him working on mgt than working on us.

The NC chairman doesn't work in a vacuum and he doesn't work alone. If he's our wind up toy working towards the issues we want. Not as p-o'd about the idea as I would be if our former chairman swung the other way.

Still, for the next one, think I'd rather have a professional negotiator dealing with the company under the direction of our pilot types. Too many weird gotcha's popping up in the contract that we all missed.
Sure would have been nice if we could have gained bidding for training while keeping the same pay/substitution policy.

DM needs to go & move some freight & leave the union work to someone else. I do not post often, but this one brought me out of the woodwork.

Don't know, but, based on what I've read about his recency of experience, might be safer for the company if he isn't flying the line.

Of course, then he might figure out why all the night hub turn guys keep using most of their sick leave every year.

I say we pick the smallest guy to mitigate any "wanna fight" challenges at future hub turn meetings.

Ha! This might be the funniest post on this topic.

Winner...LAG! Bravo.

P.S.--Let's kill this thread now. We all know DM won't be our guy, so let's talk some smack about something or someone else.

We have already had a guy like DM on the NC. PC, do you guys think it is wise to go down that road again. DM does not want to serve anybody but himself. IMHO.

DM is just looking for another way to avoid line flying. He has avoided it his entire career at FedEx.

Based on past experience DM deserves a grilling on "his" sick leave FCIF and a not so polite "thanks but no thanks". I want some professional help next time.

Can I be SCP because I used these -> " " ?

Boy, I agree there. And, look where it got him. That sorta seems to be a trend at this place. There never has seemed, as long as I have been here anyway, that there have ever been any true union/pilots first guys that, although they wish the company well, as we all do, that the pilots concerns were the number one priority. Just my opinion though.
