Negotiating Committee Chairman position.
 

A message line has come out with names of people interested in the Chairman position for the NC. I think the last name is interesting and it is also sad that he is the only one with Capt. in front of his name. It is amazing that he has the audacity to throw his hat in the ring. Why doesnt he just use that law degree full time and resign his number since he doesnt seem interested in flying the line. I bet Maliniak is hiring.

Anyone that came from the Boeing front seats in the recent past should have lots of heartburn with the lone listed Captain being head of the Union Negotiating Team--he is a serious Company Nazi and I don't use the term lightly!

I just hope that our MEC is reasonable enough to NOT allow him to have a prayer. If they think we are PO'd enough now, they have no idea what that would do to us in regards to UNITY.

Maybe Maliniak would like to apply to be the negotiator for both sides.

I truly hope that F/O BH gets the nod. I think he'd make an excellent choice. Tough, determined, and filled with excellent ideas. I have no doubt that he would fight for the ENTIRE pilot group and the things in the contract that we think are important. If you know BH, I urge you to contact your block rep and let them know that you'd like him to be the NC chair.
