ScumSeeker,

Thanks so much for your thoughtful consideration of my situation, but I saw the vascular surgeon who did the cutting, only this morning, and he's cleared me to do "whatever I feel up to." Of course, he really didn't believe that I'd been playing racquetball for the past two weeks and that tomorrow I start my normal twice-a-day sessions, one at noon and the second one at 6 P.M. I'm not on any medication, either oral or spray, except my usual multivitamin and an aspirin. As for the defibrillator, no thanks, one shock like that in a lifetime is quite enough, thank you. As long as they don't ban those blowup dolls with the battery powered "parts", I may just come back to enjoy getting some in "strange" hotels.:D

I'm glad to see you still have your sense of humor as old as you are. I thought all Hun drivers were either dead or euphemized. Do you still have all of your teefus? Are your sphincter muscles still working or are you crapping in your pants on a regular basis? Are you retired from the AF? If so, have you have been drawing a paycheck in addition to your FedEx pay? You must have ****ed away all of what you have earned along the way to still be working past 60. I'll tell you what; I will make up the difference between your FedEx retirement pay and your S/O pay. All you have to do is mow and weed eat my yard. That should cover the difference. I'll even let you jockey my riding mower. It has a side stick controller. Something you never got to use. However, I think it’s a little faster than that A-10 you flew, and has a tighter turning radius. That should make up the difference from what you missed out on and give an old fighter pilot something to do. Mowing around a tree will be like circling the Hogs in the old days. By the way, I'll even throw in a few extra bucks for Viagra if you can find anyone that will hump your old fighter pilot ass. ;););)

No mention of snow ski's? I thought they were ok as long as they are in the belly.

Did you mean some strange in hotels?

They didn't mention skis, but did ban ski poles. Guess you need to join the darkside and start snowboarding.

I read your post earlier, but didn't have the energy to respond. So, I'll try now. First of all, I was dead. It's not all it's cracked up to be, so I came back. Seriously. Secondly, as I've said before, having lived in the same house for now 21 years, with the same wife for the past 37 years, with an AF/ANG retirement as an O-6, and no mortgage or any other indebtedness, I am not hurting, money wise. However, thanks for that sweet offer, because truth be told, I do get as much satisfaction driving my tractor as I do "protecting essential" on the Jurassic Jet, but believe me, you couldn't afford to pay my rates for doing someone else's lawn. Thirdly, I have flown the electric (F-16) jet a number of times, but decided to stick with a jet that could actually do damage to the enemy, instead of a jet that just looks cool, but can't find it's butt with both hands. :) As well, after pulling 5+ G's for over 25 years, my sphincter muscles are well toned and work as they should. And finally, thanks for your kind offer of the extra bucks for some Viagra, but after 37 years with the same woman, I don't need it all that often, and now that I'm on sabbatical from flying with FedEx, I just don't need it at all.

I hope this answers all your questions. I'd like to continue writing, but it's almost time to play some racquetball. Today will be my first twice-a-day workout since my heart surgery.

Ah JJ, that A+ personality of yours may well be your undoing....I hope not. I wish you health and prosperity. I also highly recommend changing from the A+ to a B-.......I did it and life is alot better (and healthier). For many of us the A+ was a learned trait demanded by the various Mil organizations. I also reccomend you reconsider trading your A/C seat for a fishing pole........good for the heart..........be well.
