Deliveries and revenue service are two different animals.

Yes Contractually thte company had the ability. They could have posted this very same Bid with the requirement to sign an FDA agreement without any of the substandard housing allowance.

Oh really?

What part of our contract would require that?

And all of God's children would have been smiling at the future SIBA to be had. Not to mention the lack of tax equlaization. Boy did I underestimate the amount of money tax equalization is saving Fred.

Busboy was asking how they could have us sign an FDA Agreement WITHOUT the LOA.

Let's say for the sake of argument, that less than half of the CDG 757 FO slots are filled by pilots currently on the property as a result of this most recent bid. Does the company open up another vacancy bid (07-04?) to plus up the numbers for 757 FO MEM to deepen the pool for STV or do they opt for new hires?

Thoughts?

You, BC and the MEC too. Did our ALPA staff help figure this one out? Would have been nice to get that info.

Yes, that is pretty much what we have come up with. With the displacements to come off the DC-10, the only place for junior SOs to go, unless they stay in place, is CDG or MEM 757 FO. (This assumes DC-10 guys pick wide CA, Wide FO and 727 FO in that order.)

Could there be a displacement bid for 727 SO's? Where would they go?

I wonder if 727 FO's could face a small displacement bid....
