Default Electronic Bid Packs--Would this help?

To me, one of the major aggravations of looking at the bid packs on line is the difficulty of viewing the specifics of a trip while you're looking at the lines. I have sent the Big "O" a letter suggesting that in the lines, the trip number be hyperlinked to the actual trip description. So, if you're looking at the lines, you could click on a trip hyperlink to look at the trip specifics, then click on the BACK button to go back to the lines.

Do you think that's a good idea, or just a waste of time.

Although I'm not currently bidding, I agree with you and think your idea is a good one.

Two words for you if you're on the mac - Bid X. It displays the pairing data when you hold the mouse pointer over the trip. Great calendar layout too.

Fastbid was great too, before I switched to OS X.

Maybe we can get the company to buy our yearly subscription since we're saving so much money on paper.

Does bid x have a vacation wizard like fastbid?

+1. I'm a Mac guy, and I love this program. I don't think it has a vacation wizard, but I seem to remember reading that he's got something in the works.

Lippy, does it work on both the older PPC Macs and the newer Intel Macs, or just one or the other???

While I use Fastbid. A low tech solution to you problem is to open 2 windows.

The better solution is the one that MacGuy2 has offered. Now if we can only get the company to spend the $$ in programming costs. Fastbid is great, but the company should provide as much automation as possible, now that they've decided to do away with paper bid packs. Of course, that's only my opinion.
