Default Ditching a Carry Over Trip

I need some help from the professional trip traders....

I have an Airbus carry over trip that starts on the last Saturday afternoon of the November bid month and ends up in MEM on Monday night. TAFB is 57 hours. I've already started purusing the December bid pack and see a couple of lines I might be able to hold. They all start with a DH on the first Monday of the bid month--just a short 6 CR DH.

If I fly the c/o trip it will obviously dork up the DH at the beginning of the December bid month. Is there some way to drop or get rid of that c/o trip before the bids are awarded. Obviously if I wait for open time to come out, the DH trip in the next bid month will be lost CIC.

Any of you trading pros got any thoughts on how to solve this dilemma?

Thanks in advance.

You can't drop it but you can have it picked up by a buddy. Go on Pilotswap and post it there. I've had good luck before.

Thanks for that idea, I'll take that for action. FWIW the pairing is 58 on Dec.1 if anyone on this forum is interested in owning this trip.
