Ultra,
As a former furloughed pilot, I can certainly understand were your coming from. I used to preach to anyone who would listen that we STILL had people on furlough, most would say "really?" I am glad your back and hope this works out for all of us...

I am trying to understand how the "767CA in the training center" made 20k by the end of the day... Did he not take a heavy loss on the stock he already held in the first place? Only way that I could see he made 20k was he didnt have any stock to start with and bought it low a few days ago. Sort of a strange time for a company employee to have just jumped in. Is this like going to the casino and loosing $5,000 the day before and then "being up $1,000" from the money thrown in the next day?

Who's the "sacred cow" that John Allan referred to in the DPWN investor conference? Astar, ABX or the entire DHL North American air express system?

he was actually a 76 f/o who bought 10,000 shares when the stock price was in the dump (still is I guess) and by the end of the day he said he had made almost 20k. He's a line f/o who was in class for recurrent. I have no reason not to believe him, plus if you do the math I guess it kind of makes sense. Depends on what he bought in at.

Sure does makes sense on one hand... buy in low and make a quick buck. The part that stumps me is a ABX line pilot that held no stock previously and only decided to buy in when it dumped?

Perhaps he simply decided the market had over reacted. I might have done the same if I felt I had the money to play with.
