Ultra,
As a former furloughed pilot, I can certainly understand were your coming from. I used to preach to anyone who would listen that we STILL had people on furlough, most would say "really?" I am glad your back and hope this works out for all of us...

I am trying to understand how the "767CA in the training center" made 20k by the end of the day... Did he not take a heavy loss on the stock he already held in the first place? Only way that I could see he made 20k was he didnt have any stock to start with and bought it low a few days ago. Sort of a strange time for a company employee to have just jumped in. Is this like going to the casino and loosing $5,000 the day before and then "being up $1,000" from the money thrown in the next day?

Was that Me you were referring to?
he was actually a 76 f/o who bought 10,000 shares when the stock price was in the dump (still is I guess) and by the end of the day he said he had made almost 20k. He's a line f/o who was in class for recurrent. I have no reason not to believe him, plus if you do the math I guess it kind of makes sense. Depends on what he bought in at.

Perhaps he simply decided the market had over reacted. I might have done the same if I felt I had the money to play with.
