Can someone post a link to the ANC move loa?

I can't find the loa on the FDX website.

Bones,

I did the move package this summer. While I'm not complaining and I realize we didn't have any move package in the past, there are several "limitations" you should be aware of.

They move 16,500lbs and two vehicles. No boats, planes, or RVs. All this stuff goes space available on our airplanes. That's right. There's no time schedule or guarantee when you'll get your stuff. They only deliver once so until it's all there, you can't get any of it unless you want to pay a warehouse access fee and load stuff yourself.
My car made it up quickly but my truck took three weeks. Oh yeah, one of the most obvious limitations. They pay for a house hunting plane ticket for your wife (you jumpseat). However, when you move, they don't buy any tickets to move your family. Driving is a $ losing deal as well because they only pay the IRS move rate at .18cts/mile. I think it might be $.20/mi now. Anyway, it won't come close to covering gas let alone hotels or even campground fees.
The whole move is coordinated by a relocation company. They were fine to work with but the process is cumbersome because their rep has to ask Fedex and then get back with you.
Again, it is what it is: a basic package to move your stuff to AK. Lots of other limitations but too many for this forum. PM me if you want more details.

After many moves in the military...the ANC move was by far the best and easiest. The relocation company FDX used did an outstanding job! Moved an Explorer in the winter time and then a sports car in the summer. Windshield cracked on the truck during the move...check ($) in my hand in less than a week. Each vehicle took about a week to make the trip. Got home from a trip, there it was...picked the keys up, drove it off the FDX lot.

Similar experience with the household goods...best tip...have your house or apartment ready for delivery...storage is a pain.
