UPS window?

UPS window?
I know that the window closed last month. Any word on when it might reopen so we can update our files. Currently my applications says "Active", but I'm still waiting for the call. Having just looked on the UPS website, there was no reference to "First Officer", so I'm assuming things are closed for a while.
Thanks in advance for any rumors.
PS...can't wait to be based in ANC !!!

Joe,
Good luck, we need more pilots with your background (-400 time) on the property and up in ANC. I believe we are up to three -400s now. As far as ANC, it's a good base. It's far enough from the "corporate-ness" of SDF and I feel it is almost like its' own separate airline.
Even though I hear many times from the people I fly with how much they hate UPS, I actually think UPS is a decent gig.
UPS is airline #7 for me. I'd like to think I have many other airlines to compare it to.
UPS offers stability. The word stability and aviation usually aren't used in the same sentence.
Before UPS, I have been to the unemployment line four times.
UPS makes money. In 18 years of airline flying this is the first flying job I've had where the company has made money for the entire year.
UPS has good equipment. Many MD11 drivers may contrare this statement. However, at former airlines our planes had so many DMI stickers, the cockpits looked like it had a case of the measles. The planes at UPS (the MD11) are somewhat clean (maintenance-wise) given the fact that they run 'round the clock.
The union, the IPA does a pretty good job. I was in ALPA for ten years at USAir Express and TWA and feel the IPA better serves my career then did ALPA.
Finally, boxes don't complain and we get to wear high-quality, NASA-approved, brown polyester !!! Can anyone else on this mesg. board claim that...???
Best of Luck Joe, this message board usually has up-to-date info on our hiring.

Yeah - what he said.
Aren't we overstaffed? I think JD has about 500 of us on speed dial. He can now leave a message for me about JA in less than a second.
I would continually check the HR website and be ready to update my stuff at the first opportunity. I believe that is the fastest way to get an interview and on the property - before the website has 1000s of apps.
Good luck to all.
