Default ATSG Stock Jump Today?

Noticed a pretty healthy stock price increase (17%) today. I did a search and couldn't find any sort of announcement or information that would give any reason for the increased valuation. Any ideas? Better yet, any facts?

ATI will do it cheaper. Good on ya, ATI. Amazon notices, and Amazon will take care of you and yours.

I think ATI pilots are getting pretty fed up with the sub commuter pay.

Ive thought ALPA would fail and ATI is an example. They are ALPA represented and begging to come up to the level of a Teamster contract. In CVG last week I talked to several of their new guys. I think the culture at ATI is changing per new hires. CA had been there 18yrs and was sick of ALPA as well. Noticed all had their heads on a swivel as they spoke. They had upper management around with the transition. As another post stated if they don't get a good TA half that group will be knocking on the 1224 door the next day.

According to Yahoo Finance, ATSG had higher than expected quarterly earnings. PE Ratio listed as 59.46, which seems high to me. What do I know, I'm a pilot, not a stock analyst.

I did see that as well. Just didn't think the increased valuation was in proportion. Like you, what do I know? Just thought I had maybe missed some other announcement.

If ATI pilots don't get a good contract the company are idiots... seriously. Company is making money - want to expand ...

Oddly, they mentioned AMES when talking about their increased revenue from maintenance, but didn't mention that ILN seems to be losing the 717 work... I didn't think that you properly could talk about the one without mentioning the other.

I think the main reason for the jump was the 20 something percent increase in block hours. Amazon revenue now consists of more than 40% of the revenue, DHL only 26%?, and the military 11%?
