Cargo Pilot Lifespan
Is it possible that cargo pilots endure a shorter lifespan than traditional commercial airline pilots as a consequence of their often erratic sleeping patterns. This question is based on my assumption that cargo pilots frequently change time zones and perform a large portion of their flying at night.
Please exclude variables such as genetics, weight, lifestyle, etcetera from my question. |
BS. I flew more at night in the military. Pax guys get up at 3:30 am for the 5 am flights and that sounds worse to me than flying from 8 pm until 2 am and sleeping til noon.
Unless you have some serious scientific evidence to support your assumption, get rid of it. |
i saw something about that on national geographic. that and cargo pilots spend 1/3 of their life over the pacific

what about all that UV damage flying during the day?
