Just found out somebody was offered a class for the FDA. New hires, looks the the furlough talk was a bluff.:)

yeah. I was analogizing... that's the ticket.

point being... there should be a way to even out the flying among "US". After all, isn't that what the union keeps saying, unified, together, etc.

the culture of "I've got mine" needs to be slowed some into maybe something like "we're getting ours... together". That's a mindset that the leadership of the association needs to start practicing more.

Call me a dreamer but seems to me we could take care of those in the lower third of the master seniority list (no I'm not in that group)

A poolie got called? Then how the F can the ask for BLG relief when they hire another pilot? If that is the case, we 'union' gotta stand our ground and tell them to pack sand!

...and are you sure they weren't just being "polled" on wether or not they would accept an FDA, if offered, in the future?
