FDX: Changed DP MEM11
 

Looks like the company may have changed a trip concerning a DP. Extra Pairing 2252/13th Does not fly the disputed JFK-IND-OAK with 1125 of duty, but flys JFK-IND-LAX with 1125 of duty!

Well, that's much better. I'm glad the company has started to see the logic of the DP process. I guess safety is important to them after all.

I emailed the SIG about these changed pairings. The answer is this:

Once it's disputed, it's disputed no matter what they change. The reasoning is that we don't know why they changed it and in any case, they are making the changes outside of the SIG and PSIT process.

I now interpret that as a form of direct bargaining.

Also, remember that they will often change pairings and throw them in open time cross-domicile. Be wary of ANY X pairings.
