I've heard they're a good company to work for. Typical work week is four nights a week, ten hours a night. You're generally home at the end of your shift. Their pay and benefits are listed in detail on their website, http://www.airnet.com under the Work With Us link under Flight Crew. Don't know anything about their maintenance, but I've heard their typical upgrade path once you meet part 135 IFR PIC minimums and move to the left seat is you fly a piston twin for around 14 months, then FO in a Lear 35 for another 14 months or so, then move into the left seat of the Lear. Although it isn't clear from their website, their piston twin SIC program seems to be alive and well, at least as of mid-December when I submitted my application. Competitive minimums are around 1000 hours (so I figure I have another 400 or so hours of instructing ahead of me).

I've researched Airnet quite a bit on www.flightinfo.com (search for airnet). Its a good company to work for and the mx is excellent - this from pilots that have flown there and moved on and some that are still there.

- Airnet has "issues" like most other comanies, but overall it is a very good place to work.
- The info on this website is pretty much dead on.
- Yes they are! That's what sold me
- From the props to Jet is 6-12 months and it's pretty much the same for the Jet PIC, however you have to be willing to move a couple of times.
I've been here a while now and I still look forward to go to work everyday, the only thing that bothers me a little is pay! But It's probably not realistic to expect much more from a company the size of AirNet!

That's how I started with AirNet......... living in Northern NJ. Out of training I ended up in PHL for about three month's. I stayed in a friend’s apartment during the week and drove home for the weekend. I finally got TEB and two years later moved to Cbus for Jet upgrade. Look what I'm getting at is if you want the upgrades fast you are going to have to be willing to move..... It’s that simple! Off course you can get lucky, but if you are counting on that you may have to do some waiting.

Is it possible to commute? What type of jumpseat privileges do they have, if any? Is it possible to catch a ride on a company plane to get to your base?
Thanks for the info

Yes it is possible to commute. Some of our guys do it! We do have jump seat agreements with most of the commuters, SWA and some other airlines that I don’t remember. I’ve also heard that our company is considering to pay for the expense so that we can participate in CASS.
Yes you can ride the system, space permitting, but sometimes it’s not very practical (we don’t fly the whole system from Friday morning until Monday night).
I wouldn’t want to do it, but it is possible!
