Stirring the Pot
because FDX threads happen to dominate the cargo forum. |

So following this logic... If FEDEX dominates the cargo forum would it be safe to assume that a thread without an airline title would be a FEDEX thread? If they are the majority, by default, as you say. And if that is the case, should a FEDEX thread not have FEDEX in the title but one that is NOT FEDEX in the title? ;)
The only 'non airline specific' threads are FedEx. Therefore, if one comes across a thread without a specific airline than it must be a FedEx thread. |
Hey,
I have a solution! Why don't we start all FDX threads with FDX. Is it really that big of a deal guys? You are all starting to sound like a bunch of spoiled children. Grow up. |

This whole thing is ridiculous but thanks for stating what seems to be logical.

Therefore, if one comes across a thread without a specific airline than it must be a FedEx thread. there have been times in which UPS threads had much presence. so, that wouldn't work. as silly as this thread has become. I do think it is courteous to indicate the company, especially with UPS, and FedEx especially lately. come on, i.e. "MD11 Displacements" could be a number of freight outfits. practically every thread that has to do with one company has the name of the airline in the title field. why should FedEx threads be the exception? play well with others. i think that is the point. |

play well with others. i think that is the point. Never once did I state that. All I'm saying is.... read a thread, if you dont like it, move on. It is a common courtesy to place a specifc airline in the title, not a requirement. Dont point out a specific group as if they are exclusively in violation of this courtesy. |
Hi!
I have noticed this phenomenon myself. Prefacing the title with FDX..... would be a GREAT idea! cliff GRB |
Next you will tell me to put the seat back down when I'm done.

One simple suggestion, 4 pages of whining, "poo me", "but were so important", nonsense.
Grow up. |

nobody was talking about a hard rule. the original post was jovial and the point was a call for courtesy. you seem to take yourself too seriously and turning this into something bigger than it is. did you have a bad bid month or something? just look at some of the recent threads. it is indeed FedEx threads that are in violation |
