Yes, someone isn't happy
Combine that a new rep in HKG LEC also, a wind of change is definitely coming.
The recent firing of a committee chair - Fredo - by the MEC reps is a very rare thing. (SS wasn't getting rid of him..) The Sec/tres's conduct at the BOD also has brought his judgement and conduct (again) into question and I think his days are numbered also. Change in the officers at this point sends a strong message. Not a bad one.
This MEC is finally taking charge. Remember the PC letter that this MEC was the difficulty in obtaining a deal. That is where the company is worried. if PC isn't happy with something or accuses a group, then they probably are our true strength...
Congrats to the new reps. Full steam ahead.

I was at ALPA National today ... election results were emailed to MEC & LEC immediately after results were certified. No hanky-panky going on that I could tell, if fact it all looked pretty straight forward and above board.
(Hint: New HKG LEC Chairman was 100% write-in votes)

Same as Fredo
The MEC agenda was to get Joe DP elected, and for whatever reason they had...they supported the former 1st VP Sean Cassidy, and were not in support of Joe DP.
Fact, and if you need more, email your block rep, they voted to get rid of Fredo...and the Sec/Treas who was in cahoots also could be on the block next.
