Looks like both of them are going to get the assignment on a secondary line.

I take it that these two are both on this website? VTO scheduling may be shooting from the hip.

What is the trip number 16 March?

Are you looking at ANC MD-11 trip 2003 16 Mar?

2003/16 Mar - J.S. (Nugget? - VTO)

139/13 Mar - K.R. (Nugget? - VTO)

What's up? Did M.S. pimp you guys, or did you ask for these.....???

107/8 Mar - M.F. (Captain - VTO - but the pairing says regular line check, so not sure how scheduling can assign that trip if it's a DP??)

Don't you have to specifically request a DP to get it on a VTO line?

The only trips left in open time (for F/Os) now that are NOT DPs are:

229/8 Mar

65/18 Mar

5/19 Mar

ALL THE REST - I REPEAT - ALL THE REST are Disputed - so........please "do the right thing"

This may well be scheds trying to "create a loophole" by buliding a secondary line w/reserve days that fit a "DP" perfectly and then immediately assigning the DP to the r-days. .......problem is....secondary lines aren't released yet and these guys show on the pairings....HMMMMM:mad:

Section 25-E

5. If there are pairings that remain disputed after meeting with the SCP or his designee, the following process shall apply to each bid pack which contains disputed pairings for the immediately upcoming bid period only:

a. If the number of remaining disputed pairings in a particular bid pack does not exceed 5% of the total number of pairings in that bid pack, the disputed pairings shall not be included on bid lines without SIG approval. Such pairings shall appear in open time and shall be available for ordinary open time assignment or for placement on a VTO or custom line if specifically requested by a pilot holding such line.

The problem is they build secondaries made up of entirely r-days and then advance assign trips........but that is supposed to be done after the line is awarded.

This is M.F. I am the captain on pairing 107 on the 8th.I have a VTO line and I am sure it is made up of reserve days.I am 9 from the bottom.Also when I pull up the trip it says I was awarded it as "RSV".I would never pick up a DP.
This is the first post I ever put up.I always read the posts but when I saw my initials on there I thought I should clarify.
